Outreach and community prevention services are crucial steps in addressing mental health barriers to treatment and health inequities while promoting social justice values. Previous presentations include topics such as mental health, help seeking/self-care, alcohol and drug use, sexual assault, ADHD among Communities of Color, and suicide/self-harm. Currently, we conduct virtual outreach about mental health issues, stress management, and racism within the Asian and Asian American community.
All Our Kids Early Childhood Networks (AOK Networks) is a state-level initiative developed in 1999 to promote healthy pregnancies and the positive growth and development of all children birth to five and their parents/caregivers by assuring a high quality, well-coordinated, easily accessible system of services and supports.
This is collaborative care network connecting community members, patients, providers, and researchers to improve mater-nal mental health.
