Positionality: I am a cisgender Vietnamese American first-generation college scholar. I am a mother of three young children and had given birth during the COVID-19. My personal experiences of racial trauma and navigation of social rights as a Woman of Color and a mother motivate me to approach research from a place of humility. I aim to center my work in the wellbeing and healing process of Communities of Color. I adopt a critical lens with an emphasis in community-engaged and patient-centered approaches by elevating the voices and describing unique struggles of Communities of Color. My hope is that my team's research can inform policy changes, address racial health disparities, and support the healing process of communities.
